Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the MyGameShelf app on iPhone, Android, and the web ("the app"), operated by Geometry Lab L.L.C-FZ, Licence No. 2651608.01, Meydan Grandstand, 6th floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. License

On Apple platforms, your use of the app is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (standard EULA). On Android, your download and purchase are also governed by the applicable Google Play terms. Store terms control for matters they specifically address.

2. What MyGameShelf provides

MyGameShelf lets you keep a visual shelf of the games you own, play, and finish, decorate it, earn trophies, and optionally sync it across devices and share it as a live link. Game titles, artwork, and metadata shown in Discover come from the third-party IGDB database and remain the property of their respective owners; the app displays them for identification of the games in your personal collection.

3. Subscriptions

• The Collector's Pass is an auto-renewable subscription sold and processed by Apple through the App Store or Google through Google Play, depending on where you subscribe. Pricing is shown in the app before purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings; cancelling stops the next renewal and keeps access until the end of the current period.
• Payments, refunds, and billing are handled by the store under your store agreement. MyGameShelf never receives or stores your payment details.
• Decorations already unlocked on a shelf remain unlocked; sharing new links requires an active pass, while links you already published keep working.

4. Shared shelves

• Sharing a shelf publishes that shelf's content at a link anyone holding it can open. You are responsible for what your shared shelf contains — game notes and shelf names included — and for whom you give the link to.
• Do not use shared shelves to publish content that is unlawful, infringing, hateful, or harassing. We may take down a shared link that violates these Terms.
• You can take a link down from the app at any time; links also expire after 120 days without an update.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, including attempting to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or circumvent the app's security or licensing, abusing the sharing or sync service (including automated scraping or bulk publishing), or using the app in violation of applicable law.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Game metadata comes from third-party sources and may be incomplete or inaccurate.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Geometry Lab L.L.C-FZ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app, including loss of shelf data or expiry of shared links.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above; continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
